Jobs and the Indian Students in the UK

Am sure at least a few of the millions of Indian students who come to the " Great " Britain will have a read through this article. This will either be by accident (most of the cases) or because they know me. To start with let me tell you the reality of the UK market. There are only a few jobs and a million takers. Half the job seekers are only looking for jobs not really wanting them. I categorize them as time wasters and no competition. The rest (really dying to find jobs) are the real ones who form the part of the competition. Amongst the real job seekers only a few of them consider doing any job and are the real competition and the rest feel certain jobs below their dignity to be doing them, cutting down further competition.
This leaves only a few hundred or thousand odd competitors to fight with, in finding just an ordinary "part time" job. Right now let us assume we are in the race for the job, we send applications on line (UK loves to work this way God Knows Why?) and the company rejects certain applications( Rather most applications) on the basis of I assume names they don not like, or because of our religion or even maybe because we are overqualified sometimes. Whatever the reason they never state it. One way its good for the candidate does not demoralize him or her, also does not influence the candidate to modify the Resume and try again later. Well things apart now this rejection by the company further reduces competition. Now now now let again assume we are amongst the chosen few say the lucky ten people who made it through the on line stage we have more coming our way. Yes a final interview (Yuppie, more rejection on the way). Mc Donald's probably analyses in their interview if the candidate eats more burgers than he sells, Tesco checks for criminal history of robbery, Primark probably looks for models to be selling their line of "unbranded" clothes, Sports direct hmmm I guess looks for business analysts helping them analyse how they can sell Nike, Adidas and Puma for less than half the price anywhere in the UK market or Ahaan how could I forget Subway must be in the look for fit candidate to serve their " healthy" food. Whatever the case they reject say half the candidates. Lovely, now from the millions of students seeking part time jobs say probably only two people got in to various companies and firms. Half of the starting candidates the real competition now get demotivated and next time reduce competition further.
Most candidates do not realise the right time to apply as they do not know when vacancies are out( As told earlier UK advertises vacancies as well only on line), this reduces half the population of candidates already to start with.
Al right after all this I wonder who is to be blamed the students who complaint there are no jobs in the UK( UK did not invite you to come work they gave you student visa mate, and now you can not complaint about competition back home cause you just saw competition is reduced drastically) or the companies that have such strict restrictions and stipulations for joining their team. Whatever the case the people suffering are the job seekers, still millions of Indian students leave their luxurious lives and intelligent institutions back home to come and slog here to earn and lead an ordinary life.
